Today, more than ever, our youth need to be exposed and involved in positive activities where they can learn essential life skills to succeed and be the best version of themselves.

 

Stemming from their personal experiences, mother and daughter duo, Celinett and Celinda created Stellar Role Models to empower young girls. While working in the public education sector, Celinett (mother, founder and president of Stellar Role models) identified a void in programming that incorporated fun ways to build up self-esteem in preschool through middle school aged girls. Her daughter Celinda, has participated in pageants since age 8, and has attained various titles most recently, Miss New Jersey USA and Miss Dominican Republic USA. She was diagnosed with Lupus a week before one of her competitions and was determined to not let it stop her from achieving that, or any other goal she had. Their combined objective- to create a program that focuses on boosting self-esteem and confidence while developing communication and social skills in order to equip youth for success; Hence Stellar Role Models was born. Stellar Role Models also promotes education and community service involvement to make for a well-rounded individual. The goal is to help future role models embrace their uniqueness, inner beauty and strengths, while enhancing and developing other talents.
